New Life.

Nothing is sweeter in my job then watching a family grow.  I love seeing how older siblings react to a new baby in the house ... and how baby is in awe of her new surroundings.  I love watching a mother's love ... first baby or third baby, the love is the same.  Pure and gentle, soft and sweet and most definitely, overflowing.

Captivating Kennedy

I'm friends with Kennedy's mama.  We have a special connection and we finally were able to meet in person for this special photo shoot.  From the minute I first saw a photo of Kennedy as a baby ... I was swooning.  She is so very beautiful.  Those eyes remind me of my own son and you can easily get lost in that sea of dark dark brown.  Simply captivating.

And so is her personality.  She is as vivacious and captivating in person as she is in photos.  It was a pleasure to photograph her, and her adoring parents.  Clearly, she is the apple of their eyes, as it should be!  Enjoy this preview (in an album located in the left sidebar) and your PhotoGazelle package will be arriving soon.

When Michelle contacted me about taking photos of her and her daughter, I was thrilled!  It's always so thrilling when another photographer steps out from behind the lens and decides to get their own photos done!  I was happy she chose me!  Michelle created SPIN, her photography business along with her sidekick, self-proclaimed business manager and DAUGHTER, Skyler!

We had a blast roaming KC together and I enjoyed giving SPIN a different view on the other side of the lens!  ENJOY!

Three.

Oh how I love my job.  I love seeing babies grow, families grow, lives change and be a witness to absolute, sheer JOY.  I know first hand that life is filled with joy and sorrow.  I know that life is endlessly shifting in its ebb and flow.  And most of all I know that we need to celebrate the JOY in everyday moments.

Oh boy do I know what a busy house is like...but I cannot pretend to know what it is like to have 3 babies of the same age to tend to day and night.  I know these exhausted parents, whom I call friends, are doing an amazing job.  The babies are happy, healthy, loved and most certainly ... adored.

I've updated their original album located in the sidebar to the left.  It's pretty fun to take a look back and see how much these cuties have grow!  They are thriving and I'm thrilled to be a part of documenting their sweet lives.  Thanks guys for trusting me.  Enjoy the preview!

Baby Harper

Oh how I LOVE sweet little newborns!  They are unpredictable little things!  Just when you think they will sleep, they are awake and ready to perform!  Sweet Harper was definitely interested in what was going on ... but soon her mama got her off into dream land and she was compliant and OH SO BEAUTIFUL.

Baby Norah

Ooooh, I so love little babies!  This pretty little thing was not at all interested in sleeping for me though!  In fact, I'm guessing that she slept the rest of the day after I left because at nearly 3 weeks old she was up between her entire feeding!  She didn't want to miss a beat!  Bright eyes, beautiful hair and completely precious.  Here is Norah.

Beautiful Babes.

I'm super lucky this year to be able to have some "winter work" with a bunch of sweet babies on the calendar!  Last week on the coldest day of the year so far I met these little bundles of blue eyes and smiles.  It was a perfect session.  The kids are delightful and I'm already looking forward to our next follow up session!

Year in Review

I had such a great year.  I began the year wondering how I'd build back my business after the year having had Noah.  Turns out my clients are as loyal as ever and business was booming.  I wanted to take some time and reflect on all of the fabulous photo shoots I've had, so I created this little tribute video.

 

This was my first time making a video so forgive the small issues here and there.  Happy New Year and again, thank you!

This photos makes me die with love.

I mean, all of tht baby cuteness all precious and sleeping in a SANTA hat?!??!  Oh it will melt many hearts when that Santa Baby arrives on a Christmas card!

This new family was DELIGHTFUL and full of PRETTY people.  These handsome boys make me melt.  Their intense eyes and thick handsome hair.  This family is three times blessed with the joy of BOYS!

I just realized I didn't include the other gorgeous guys on this preview page!  But no worries, they are also featured in the album in the sidebar to the left!

Ashley, thanks for giving me a chance and inviting me into your home.  I can easily see why Julie and Angie consider you a FRIEND.  I bet if I lived in Kansas City I might be able to call you a friend too.  It was super meeting you and I loved your energy.  I will look forward to seeing you again in May!
